shore projects - project 3

shore projects barra watch new watch blogger blogger mail british daily watches

following the success of the slick, metallic make over of project 2, shore projects release their third collection of watches. the six style strong collection, features watches named after some of britain's most loved beaches - barra, morecambe, newquay, anglesey, lulworth and camber - each watch has an individual colour pop, which is reminiscent of vintage fishing boats.

i loved the new season details of project 2, delicate wave engraving to the crown and styles name engraved on the back of the watch with shore projects flag logo - and i'm pleased to see all these design touches remain for project 3. shore projects have given project 1 a classic rework for project 3, featuring brushed stainless steel casings, crisp coloured faces and bold contrasting dials.

the quality and minimalist touches of the project 1 and 2 still remain, but i love the addition of the colours to the faces of the collection. project 3 really does feel timeless, it has such a lovely vintage feel that reminds me of my grandads favourite watch, and time spent on family holidays in swanage.

i decided to make use of the mix and match feature online, and paired my barra with the lemon silicone strap - which really does sit beautifully next to the creme face. the new silicone straps are super soft, and the pastel colour palette really makes them the perfect accompaniment for the whole collection.

needless to say, i'm in love!

project 3 from shore projects is available online now, along with the new silicone strap range.
